Why is natural weight loss so hard?
Do you find yourself stuck in a rut with weight loss? The number one reason why it's hard is because it's a lifestyle change. It's very hard to change your lifestyle to healthy eating versus fast food. Fast food is convenient, fast food is easy, fast food doesn't require any cooking, and fast food is cheap. As all of this is true, that doesn't mean fast food is the answer. Natural weight loss is a very hard, challenging, slow process. It requires mental strength and a lot of discipline. The day you decide you want a change, you will need to make small changes first before setting those big goals.
Is Ozempic the answer?
Ozempic was released to the United States in December 2017 to help people with type 2 diabetes fight the disease. Ozempic is used to improve the blood sugar content while it helps lower the risk of major cardiovascular disease. While the drug does curve your appetite, it was never created as an initial weight loss drug.
The side effects (as mentioned on the Ozempic website) includes:
severe gastrointestinal issues like gastroparesis and bowel obstruction
increased risk of pancreatitis
gallbladder issues
kidney issues
Ozempic has something called a "Black Box Warning" which means that is a serious safety warning issued by the FDA.
Why you should do it the right way?
The right way is macro counting, and moving the body. There doesn't have to be any sort of drug you put in your body to do it the right way. EAT YOUR PROTEIN and get your body off the couch. It can be done as I did it myself. I used this calculator to calculate how many grams of protein, carbs, fat, and calories I should intake a day for healthy weight loss. Healthy weight loss is 0.5-2lbs a week which doesn't sound like much. Once you look in the mirror and see results, nothing else will matter!
Of course it's going to be hard! But so is life. Life is hard and nothing is easy. This will be one of the most rewarding adventures you do for yourself. As a certified nutrition coach who lost over 50 lbs naturally, I promise you can do it! Make small healthier choices, and it will lead to bigger goals you never saw yourself making!
